Beverly Duan was born on December 19, 1999 in Los Angeles, California. Beverly is an American actress known for being the voice of Lulu on Nickelodeon's cartoon show "Ni Hao, Kai-Lan." Beverly started acting at a young age. In 2002, Beverly was cast for a series of "Live Long, Be Healthy" commercials that broadcast on KSCI LA Channel 18. At the age of six, Beverly created a stir in the radio industry with her dreamy voice. She quickly gained renown as the dreamy voice of beloved children's fairytale characters. While taping at a radio station, Beverly was scouted by a Nickelodeon executive producer who recognized her performance abilities. Beverly became the voice of "Lulu" on Nickelodeon's award-winning animated show "Ni Hao, Kai-lan." Beverly is a talented musician and dancer. Beverly began playing piano at the age of four. She has finished the California Certificate of Merit Advanced Level 10 in piano with Honors. Beverly also does ballet, tap dancing, and Chinese-folk dancing. Beverly can speak English and Mandarin Chinese. Beverly is currently studying at UCLA for her Ph.D. in Economics. |
